I thought I would share a little bit about myself with you.
My name is Lecia Joy and I'm a recent BFA recipient. I started this site to showcase my most current work. I work primarily in clay, and almost exclusively in sculptural, rather than functional pieces. I do enjoy digital art and other medias, but focus on ceramics.
I received an honorable mention prize in the Mosaic Globe Creativity Competition 2008.01 in the Decorative and/or Functional Art Category!!! Thank you so much!

Hi! Thank you for visiting my site! Site Update 7/25/09 Great news! I am back in the studio making ceramics!!! However, I do not have access to a professional set-up for slides, so I've posted some not so great snap-shots so you can see what I have been working on. I had a successful raku firing this summer and have been working on throwing more - I believe my hard work is paying off. Don't worry - I'm not abandoning my sculptures! Please check out my ceramics page for updates. Also, my two Venice photographs were in a show at The Creamery in Springfield, MO! Trying to get my name out there. So far, so good. Keep creating!
